The 32 km trip A route outside the Gorges de l’Ardèche nature reserve

You will discover the diversity and beauty of the landscapes crossed by the Ardèche, with the grandiose finale of the passage under the Pont d’Arc!
Along your descent, you’ll find numerous places to stop, swim, picnic, or simply enjoy the view.

On the first day, your adventure begins in the charming listed village of Balazuc.
You’ll sail across the plain to reach the superb Cirque de Gens.
After crossing the Ruoms gorges, you’ll spend the night at our partner campsite.
This first day features a few rapids, perfect for a gentle introduction to whitewater rafting.

The next day, your route continues across a vast agricultural plain dotted with bodies of water and old dikes, remnants of the old mills. Slides have been built to facilitate crossing these structures.
The rest promises to be more dynamic: you’ll follow several slides, pass under the unmissable Pont d’Arc, and then finish in style with the Charlemagne rapids before reaching the end of your descent.

You should plan to spend an overnight stay at a campsite in Ruoms after the first day of your descent.
This campsite is located halfway along the route and allows you to book a stopover (overnight stay with half-board or full-board).
